Smoothie Bowl

We love a quick-and-easy breakfast fix as much as the next busy bee, but sometimes, we don’t mind sacrificing a little time for the sake of a pretty meal. Smoothie bowls instantly became our favorite way to combine our love of healthy food with our urge to be creative. The absolute best part about smoothie bowls: the possibilities are endless. The flavor combinations could include any mixture of veggies and fruits your heart desires, as well as all the toppings you can imagine.

WW PointsPlus counters, beware: Calculating the points for this type of dish can be disastrous. We feel that, as something to be consumed in moderation now and then, this is a great and healthy alternative to many other indulgences you could be splurging your points on. (And because this recipe yields a pretty large bowl, you could even share it with someone else, or save half for later!) Below, we attempt our own smoothie bowl. We were pretty happy with the outcome! 033015 SmoothieBowl_20
